It's one of my pleasures in life...Thanks Wendy! It's one of my pleasures in life to turn people on to this book- or re introduce them to it. The book still makes me laugh and cry at various points. Interestingly she pitched it as a memoir but the editor told her it would work better as fiction. Guess the editor was right- though I think I would have loved the memoir as well... and Wonderful New Year!
